District Notice

Hello, Together, with our communities, Northland School Division honours survivors of residential schools on Canada’s National Day for Truth & Reconciliation. We support this federally recognized day by ensuring students and staff are together with their families. On occasions when the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation (September 30th) falls on a weekday, all Northland schools and facilities are closed to observe this important day. This year, as the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation happened to fall on a Saturday, families were already able to be together. Therefore, a decision was made to use this day in lieu to extend the holiday break for families in December and January.
